老驥伏櫪：ろうきふくれき [rou-ki-fuku-reki]

意味:Meaning

人が年老いても、なお若者と変わらぬ大志を抱くこと。もとは、年老いた駿馬(しゅんめ)が活躍の場を失い、馬屋に伏していながら、なお若いころの千里を駆ける志を捨てない意。
